For those of you who aren't Chinese, you may not know about the significance of todays date. Chinese people go a little crazy about the number 8, truly believing that it can bring them good fortune. That makes today possibly the most blessed day ever!

I am sat right now watching the opening ceromony of the Beijing olympics in complete awe.
